Looking really good @dallasg. Your lighting really makes the colors pop.

Are you running anything like P04, Carbon or LR to supplement the cubes? Planning on running my new setup similar to this and your advice would be great :)

thanks, i knew left something out, this tank only requires 1 day maintenance a month
    i have about 40kg LR
i run carbon because of all the softies and mini-carpets

    it follows my R.E.E.F methodology

Sounds very similar to my system currently but I am only running 500ml's of the cubes. Isn't 1.5kg more than the recommended dose?

I take it you are running a dosing pump for the additives? Mind sharing how much per day? Sorry for all the questions but your R.E.E.F methodology intrigues me and I want to go down this route as it sounds so simple and effective.

thanks, i have all the bling etc but dont use it, to much maintenance, i would rather spend the time watching my menagerie of inverts

i agree 100%, if my demand gets more, i might add a dosing pump and go 3 part but until then just enjoying

the only work is the filter sock weekly

Even though the Orca suppliments give damn good bang for your buck, i would advise dosing / adding more often than once per week, purely to keep especially alk stable.

Ag no man! Thought you were gonna show us how cheap and effective a system can be run on only cubes, Orca Reef xtrax, phospha guard and their ca and alk supps.
