    Cycling

It is still cycling, thursday it will be 3 weeks. On my tank the filter system sit at the back of the tank. When I top up with ro water, do i need to fill in the display area or in the filter area? I have added 2 fans to help with temp controll so the evaporation rate is quite high. at the moment it is still cycling so I only run the lights for about 3 hrs per day. the temp setteled at about 25.5 degrees. Is this right? Do I need to top up with ro on a daily basis? or rather every other day? Then another question. it is a 102 lt tank. I have 9.5 kg live rock in the display, 2.5 pourus rock in the filter that will go live in 6 months and 1.5 kg rough coral in the filter. I also have about 1 kg porcelain noodles and a bag of carbon. How many creatures can i put in the tank? The first thing will be the cleaning crew. How many and what types.

What I gathered it is about 1 creature per 10 lt. Is this correct? Does snails and hermits count as creatures?

620lx420hx515w mm. that is the complete size. if you take the filter size off it will be 620x420x415.

2 clowns, snail, cleaner shrimp, hermit and maybe a firefish. What skimmer do you have?
Take out the ceramic noodles as they will lead to problems in the future. The temp is fine. Doing more frequent Ro top ups is better as it keeps the SG more stable especially in a small tank. Get an auto top up unit :) ... What carbon are you using? Rough coral will also serve as a detritus trap so remove it. You want live rock :).. You have enough rock though. If you dont have a skimmer then you must do bigger and more frequent water changes

hi, thank you for all your input. it is definatly 102.37 lt. it has a protien skimmer in the filter system. If I remove all the noodles and crushed coral, should I replace it with live rock? The system has a fitting for a uv light in the filter system, do i need to use it? Will the live rock in the filter be fine without light?
