Hi guys! In a bit of a situation. Was moving my tank and a smalll hairline crack appeared by the overflow hole . My overflow is on the right pane of my 4 foot system. At the top centre. I silliconed it now and filled to below the crack. How can I assess whether it will run? Its about 3 cm. Only have till sunday Afternoon. To sort this out. dawie

    Do not use this tank.
Replace the side pane of glass.

If its got to be done by Monday, will you have enough time to let the silicone dry?

Same thing happend to me when I moved. Keep on leaking so I had to take it out and replace it. That lead to me taking down the tank once again :banghead:. I woud recommend you change it now.

assess it properly and dont rush it, if you rush it it may cause more major problems later on and usually when you arent there to fix it...

I would suggest a new tank if time is critical, or a fix if you have the time and the live stock are sorted in another system and can stay there until your system is ready.
