    Crab identification needed

Hi, we live in Margate Kwazulu-Natal and were heart broken when our fish started disappearing one by one. Found this crab in our tank and managed to catch it. What is it??? and has it been catching our fish? Please email me at charmvz1@gmail.com if you know. crab.jpg

    Swimming crab. Very predatory.

I dived a 30cm one last week. Good eating...

Thanks for the prompt response. It was very difficult to catch and had many meals of extremely expensive fish. Any chance that there will be more in our tank?

Yeah they're total bastards. Quick and agile. Have a look at night with a torch, that's when most crabs come out to play. I use stainless jewellery tweezers to extract or impale them:

You can get em from jewellery supply shops for R40-50. Also good for grabbing frags from crevices and lots of other stuff.
