    Hi people.

I have a crab that I caught. Any ideas on what it is?

It's living peacefully in my sump right now.

These crabs I do not know. Hermits and snails I do a lot better.

I would leave him in the sump.

Where in the tank did you find him?

He looks like an algae eater, with those pincers.....but I think rather safe than sorry is better.

I found him in the base rock, I have seen him scraping rock for algae but the oke never travels far, always hiding.

Still can't find an id on that one.
Pincers definitely look like it belongs in the mithracinae subfamily
