I spotted this fella in an LFS and have stayed away from him, but he looks very interesting and i am half complimlating setting up an invert dominated tank and he might make an interesting piece, but i need an id first.

the pics are poor, my applogies, but he is very rounded and has a tendancy to want to burrow by the look of him. the pinchers are held low and under the crab, but seem a little too sharp for my liking so i think he might catch fish (wrasses in particular)

    but any ideas??

great:) many thanks achielies, he's not the most usual sollution to an over population of crabs i have in the one tank (seriously millions of the little things comming out at night and truley well hidden in the day) and a box crab or shamefaced crab might be an interesting sollution. I was looking at a harlequin tusk fish or a trigger to sort them out, but the crab would be unique and save me 2 000kr.

i'll read a little more on him (although there doesnt seem to be that much info from reef forums, normally a very good indication to stay away).

sounds like a fun and unusual guest one will never see:)
