CRAB 1 - Smiling for the camera

    I managed to snap my 1st found crab. Now he is about 50c big (not the singer). What I noticed (and the pics are at night and not that good) is that he is filter feeding with these "Fan like things" which it flicks out into the water keeps for 2 to 3 seconds then moves them back into his mouth. I tried to illustrate it in one of the pictures.

    Would love to know if I should nuke it or leave it. Other crab I am trying to find... @RiaanP you can have him if i catch him.

    lovelly looking fella, i personally would leave him be although id try get a positive id on him if you can. (i have no idea im afraid) but does look like a cool crab to me:)

    Defnitely a species of porcelain crab - you will see the "antennae" are attached behind the eye, as opposed to inbetween the eyes.
