Could these be coral farms ?

    What are all those rectangular dark shapes in the sea ?

    From this distance they could be shellfish beds (oysters etc - even lobsters) but equally they could be coral farms, where are they?

    And my response to your question, would be: QUITE POSSIBLY.... quite possibly...

    well its definitly man made. but i wonder with the amount of boats there, and it seems to be a fairly populated area. Would be nice if they were coral farms though, definitly kick ass:) anyone know if there is a way to do that here?

    I had a look at the URL. Sure LOOKS like coral farms in the sea, which they are doing aqua culturing of corals! :)

    WOW! Nice! I just wish that we could have done that HERE!

    my gosh those are awesome. what i would worry about is people nicking my corals out of the sea:( some james bond stuff:) or some pesky fully grown emperor deciding he's hungry:) dam now how do we explain that to insurance?:p
