    Hi there to everyone.

    I am new to this site and would appreciate some advice please. I am building a tank of which two sides will form part of my house structure and the remaining will be glass.

    It will be L = 1.5 m
    W = 1.5 m
    H = 2.1 m

    I am really stuck as I am not sure on the correct thickness due to the extreme pressure on the glass. I received various differant opinions but would appreciate advice from you guys.

    Kindest regards

    Bennie

    I get 44.4 mm if you take the water height at 2050mm. Just remember that this does not count the bracing, so you might get away with 40mm.

    I would say more than 40mm probaly closer to 60mm.

    Acrylic is normaly recomended here though. Safer.
