    Hi everyone :)

All my corals have closed, shrimps and starfish are dead. Clam is closed (don't know if its dead)

The only thing I have done is added 2 mp40's to my tank (setting on low)

I accidentally dropped a power cable in my tank as well.(220V)

Fish al all ok. Just my corals I am stressing about.

Need some urgent help here. :please:

I have done a water change, added stability as well.

    Thanx
    G

Shoo! Ummm..... How long ago did you drop the power cable in? for inverts to be affecte first it must have be some toxin like copper or another metal to kill them? How long was the electrical cord in the water until you noticed it?

Yes I have... I have tested. It seems fine compared to my last test.
I spoke to jungle aquatics. And they have said that the mp40's will lift up debris in the tank. But Im not convinced, as My inverts are dead.

Many moons ago the same happened to me! How long was the power cable in the water? I lost all my Shrimps, Starfish and softies! You cam actually say everything that touched the ground died! Because a cheap powerhead failed in my display, almost lost myself when I stuck my hand in the tank!! LOL!

Another question... When do I decide to take the corals out?? How do I know they are dead?? I dont want them to sit there and rot away and start killing everything else...

Airation will definately help. Is your system closed. Can you expose the tank to fresh air or put in an airstone?
