Coral Skeleton

Morning All,

I went to @ Wild on pets and saw in the 1 tank they have these pieces of coral skeleton.

Why do the pieces float and how can I get it to stay in the tank?

There is 1 specific piece that will work great for what Im planning but need to get it to stay submerged and not floating all over

I saw that the other day, I think its due to the fact its quite porous and has air trapped in it.

maybe held under water long enough would allow the water to penetrate it allowing it to sink, failing that you will have to treat it like driftwood in a freshwater tank and fasten it down somehow
