Coral or algae ??

    Would like someone in the know to I.D. these growths for me. I thought that they were a kind of Calcareous algae, but they cant be, as they have hundreds of tiny little polyps that open up when feeding. These polyps are extremely tiny, and almost look like minute Xenia. I didn't manage to get a decent close up photo of the polyps, but will try again.

    You're right !! After checking the web for Heliopora, I found lots of pictures showing the polyps. Just learnt something new again. Thanks !
