    looks like a goniopora, not an expert so don't take my word on it.
    Seems very white though

    your Spot on, I just google Sea Pens, and it has the same characteristics, anyone one have any experience with them?

    No one has any experience with this coral? I have got a lot of info from the net.

    as far as I know, they do need rather deep sand to stand in. OK, might differ per species.

    A coral not for the faint hearted, best left in the ocean or advanced aquarist

    Just an update, fed it Rotifer, and looked like it loved them. this morning it was gone... :eek:

    put the light on, and to my amazement, it started emurging from the sand bed, it was so cool. I'm not an advanced
    aquarist by any means but I'm going to do my best in caring for this and will keep you all updated.

    I've read they need really deep sand beds, so if you can, perhaps build up the sand where it is, not sure how deep though, you're going to have to do some research on it.

    p.s. A video of it waking up would be awesome if you get a chance. :)

    Hi ALL

    Tried taking the Video, but its like watching paint dry, the video is about 30min long from start to completely Viewable Sea Pen, looking for fast forwarding software to speed up the video, will keep you updated.:whistling:

    A time-lapse app might be better.
