Coral ID Please

    hi guys i bought this coral today but not sure what it is. does someone know..

    they said its an sps some kind of encrusting monti..

    it has a hard body but does look some what like a chalice..

    any advice would be appreciated

    Not Zoa's. it looks more like an chalice to me. Maybe @irieivan can assist!

    i thought so, i was really hoping that it was a encrusting monti..

    Why Pitty Chalices are so much nicer and more valuable (in the states)

    Definately a chalice , and encrusting monti would have polyps,many time diferent colour to plate :p

    Are those red perhaps polyps? ... Seems 2 look so wen I zoom a bit???

    no polyps its part of the body so monti is out

    true true.. Lfs sold it too me as a super man monti which i was doubting from the start
