Man every month I spend about an hour snapping a large marge Tupperware of Monti pieces out of my tank.

This stuff grows like weeds they seem to be really hardy. They look nice but the problem .... The grow in such a way that the block the valuable asset -> light

The other stuff freeken parasite Xenia it's getting out of control I didn't see some growing at the back of my tank and covered the base of one of my fav sps and we all know what happens next.

Anyone got corals they wish they never had in their tank

There are some others which, unlike encrusting growers already mentioned, we do not really witness the effect of their competitive strategies.... Sarcophytons.... sarconin IIRC..... Allelopathy is a scary reality... especially in a sps dominated reef....

Nothing wrong in keeping them..... Its what you want to keep with them and the quantities you want to keep.
