Hello Joe - personally - I would say 'yes', it helps. I target-feed mine once in a blue moon. They seem extremely happy. The growth of my torch (similar to frogspawn, and candy cane is also a LPS) seems to be much better when I target feed it a little bit, every once in a while. You should not target feed it every single night though.

That's my personal thoughts.

Joe - I usually feed mine small pieces of pink shrimp, or otherwise, I feed my own mixture of blended seafood mix/mussels (as gotten from Pick-n-Pay). That works for me, alternatively, you can go for commercial frozen food (the little square blocks of mysid or artemia).... BUT these are not any good, as they contain many phosphates... in my opinion!

Copy what Jacques said. I feed my frogspawn about once every two weeks. They definately grow much faster when fed.

Hi Joe - this is that I use my turkey baster, turn off all pumps, and then actually put my whole hand/arm in my tank, and let some food get squirted right onto the coral (into it's tentacles)....
