Hey guys,

I'm not sure if this is really urgent, but for me as a beginner it is. My coral isn't looking good as you can see and I'm not sure what to do. All my levels seem fine, there isn't too much flow on it and it gets good light, well at least I feel so.

Any suggestions?

Ancoras and most other lps are susceptible to tissue damage from their sharp skeletons. This causes an infection that can be hard to stop once it starts. You can try doing iodine dips using lugols solution. 20drops per 2L of tank water and dip for 10-15mins. Use a turkey baster to gently blow off dead tissue. Rinse in another bucket using some tank water before placing it back in the tank. Do this for a few days in a row until the tissue recession stops.

@mariusmeyer Thank you, I'll have to investigate that. Appreciate you chipping in!
