    Hi lads,
My copperband won't won't eat. scared he's going to starve to death. I've got brineshrimp, artemia, tetra flakes (marine), mini tetra pellets (marine), other types of flakes, nori.

    Any more suggestions?
    Thanks

Best food to wean copperbands are bloodworms. But still no guarantee.
You should try mysis as well. Mysis is the best food to wean banggais.

If he's not eating artemia, try some other frozen foods but if you can get hold of live artemia(brine shrimp) he might try it.

If you put him in because of Aptaisia, then he should get all he needs from that and other life on your reef. I've had mine for two years and he has never touched anything i've fed. So don't worry too much if he dosn't take food you feed.:)

Copperband's are notorious for not eating and 99% of them die in our tanks due to this. Your best bet is to try live brine shrimp, but that alone will not sustain them for long in a young tank, if it takes live brine then you may have a chance of getting it onto frozen enriched brine or mysis.

Copperbands are not always a solution against aptesia.
Not every Copperband eats aptesia. Not every peppermint shrimp eats aptesia.

got a copper band last week, took 2 days to start eating, however, only wants to eat frozen artemia, refuses flakes, bits, and frozen marine mix, hope it helps.

Copperbands usually ONLY eat brine or mysis. If you have a copperband that eats flakes you lucky. Mine has a go at the flakes then spits them out.

I'm hoping one day he takes a liking to them thou.

Feed fish roe. Your anthias will go wild for it. It they don't eat a lot they will fade.
