I'm looking for a large amount of copepods from a variety of sources to seed a copepod breeding tank i am setting up to harvest for my DT. If anyone can help me out let me know. :)

I don't think anyone just sell copepods perce. Go to "reefkeeping.com" and this months issue has an article on how to start your own plancton/algae culture.

another way to get copepods is get some LS from others, maybe a LFSeven from your own dsb, with no predators they will flourish in their own tank

Ya i have already setup a 10L tank for them with a decent depth substrate, live rock rubble, some macro algae etc. Added some copepods from my tank, but not enough in my opinion for them to take off majorly. I will probably go get some LS over the weekend and add to the tank as well. Just need to find phytoplankton to feed them.

You just have to feed the guys you catch. Cyclopeeze is a dried product which you can feed your tank. You can also use coral Frenzy

I found the article you mentioned going to try that setup. I also found the copepod culture handbook from the same article which also has loads of useful info. Thanks for the help in that.

We dont get cyclopeeze or coral frenzy here in EL, i will need to look else where for one of these. I have been adding Red Sea coral grow, which is what i feed my corals in my DT.
