Hi Guys,
Had my tank up for about two weeks, had to take it offline every 3days due to some insane leak that seems to come out of nowhere..anyways during that time I have noticed lots..i mean hundreds of tiny tiny tiny white things all over my front glass and dancing around all over the place, even in my sump.
I am guessin these are copepods and good for my tank?

Question is, how do i ensure their survival? what do they eat?

I am havin issues with my tank at the moment due to plumbing and have made sure the water stays at the rite temp but had to disconnect my sump from the display for the past day (put a heater in the display)

As far as I know the smaller pods eat diatoms, don't think you have to do anything in particular except let the tank cycle...

Let em breed. They are most noticable in the morning once your lights come on.Hardy as hell.

Did you use NSW? And what substrate you using? Good luck with the plumbing issues, i had similar issues when i setup... Couldn't find the Damn leak. Eventually pulled all silicon off and re-sealed... Make sure you leave the silicon to dry 1st for about 4hours or else the leak will just return.

yea using NSW, provin a mission to get sum tho', so busy at work. also using natural sea sand. Plumbin is givin me such a headache, lettin the present leak dry for the moment, hopefully it will do the trick and i can get moving on my tank!

So where the pics so we can offer advice, trust me.... knowing what I do now (Which isn't much at all) I would do the next tank completly different!!!

I totally agree..do it all over again i would do alot differently..finally got all leaks sorted!
