I,m about 3 months into the addiction.
and quite a bit poorer but do now have a 600L tank.
I,m looking for a good place to buy coral.
Also is it plundered or grown?
    Cheers Rossco

Hi and welcome to MASA. You can check out the sponsors forum for corals. Do you have any pics of your tank to show us?

Welcome to MASA, I trust you will find us all here a pretty decent bunch and all up for discussing pretty much anything marine aquarium related - and occasionally go off topic

    I'm based in Randburg.
I,m a bit of a DIY addict so the tank is a self build 1.2*.6*.6
It has a marble shelf holding a few corals a bit closer to the light.
The lid will have to be redone as it is made of Pollycarb and will not stand the heat of
the metal halide lamps I hope to still buy.
I'll try post a pic tomorrow

it is just my calculator is 1.6x0.6x0.6 only equate to 432L, remove some for substrate and rockwork and you actually have less water volume - the initial 600L as quoted is substantially less

Hi Rossco, welcome to MASA, glad you joined. Check in my signature, there is a link on how to start a marine tank - read through it, you'll find a lot of info in there.
Check in the sponsors forum who is closest to you, it might be Idol marine or Dorry pets, wild on pets, etc
Also join the guys at the local reefclub in JHB - there you'll also learn a lot from the other MASA members and swop out coral frags, have a few :1:, etc
