Hi All,I am looking into the costruction of a concrete tank with viewing windows...any info or links would be appreciated...concrete specs(salt water resistant,40 Mpa,coatings to concrete),viewing windows(acrylic, expensive, vulnerable to scratching, glass, type of frame, waterproofing)
Ideally tank to be sunlit, metal halides for evening viewing...rock(reef)scape to be built insitu...looking forward to your replys;)

Wow fisheye - sounds really COOL!

I think that you would have to build/construct it like any other tank (at first forget about the "salt-water" part....) - then use something like lots of either swimming pool marbelite(sp?) or perhaps the stuff that boats are built of (

Have a look at the following:

for some ideas...

Just joking. But this is all I could take and the guy only allowed me a couple of photos per day. Enjoy...

:slayer: I also had a look at this construction, now I wonder if we can trust this guy. Is this really going to be a tank and on top of that: A tank for what?
