Hi Guys,

Is there any reason why I cannot collect my own NSW from a good unpolluted spot in false bay ?

I normally use water from Research Instritue in sea point. This I know is filtered.

Any reason why I should NOT collect my own NSW, plankton dying etc, would appreciate your input ?

Make sure you collect the water as deep in the ocean as possible and from locations that are not near rivers, ports or swimming areas, basically unpolluted.

If NSW is kept too long then you will have die off in the water column.

If you want to store NSW, keep it in the dark and siphon water from the top, as all the "death" will have settled at the bottom and the lack of light will inhibit algae blooms.

So is the Research Institutes water filtered more for what I will naturally collect ?
