Hi guys,

Not sure if this warrants urgent help or not , but rather safe than sorry.

Also, please forgive if the format is not as clear or concise as some requests I've seen here.

Got 2 newly added Occelarius since the weekend.

They all look fine and normal , but the small one has a distended abdomen , if it was a tropical fish I would have called it egg bound , but I expected it to be male. It's tiny compared to the other one.

Having said that , he put on a growth the first two days we had him.

TL450 , 14 months old.

Been running for a few months fishless, with red mushrooms exploding every where.

Added a rock with Zoas about 6 weeks ago , all good.

Added another rock from a tank I bought about three weeks ago. Sparked a mini cycle , just a touch of algae and a little cyano flair up.

In the last two weeks added a cleaner shrimp , gbta and the two clowns.

All corals (brain , mushrooms , Zoas) and Nem seem hundreds.

Also have 2 blue legged , 1 red legged crab and Narcissus snail and a turbo along with the usual assortment of hitch hikers.

Parms

PH 8.4
SG 1.025
No2 and No3 undetectable.
PH 0.04 fwiw , suspect the new rock
Ca a touch high at 500
Mg 1390
Kh 8

Using Redsea for everything except Ca and Mg which are Salifert test kits.

Running Matrix , bio cube bomb , carbon , purigen and stock skimmer.

Everything looks fine and is eating / behaving normally.

Will try post a pic , but the little so and so moves to fast to get a good shot.

Best pic I could get - the lower clown.

Edit to add - I don't feed flake and have never seen them gulping at the surface. Moves perfectly fine so I it's not an obvious swim bladder issue.

bottom one seems very thin.
feed it as bit of flakes or anything and see if he eats.

All back to normal. Will keep an eye and get some meat on their bones.

Thanks.
