clownfish acting weird

    my clownfish keeps swimming in one place in the tank all day long, any ideas why ,and what must i do so that he can swim all around the tank

    Your clownfish is acting normal
    They dont generally swim around the tank, they find a home and sort of linger there the whole time. Provided its swimming straight and eating, there is nothing to worry about

    I wouldnt add two more, you could add one but it wont change their swimming behaviour. They not active swimmers like other fish.

    Unless you have a large tank, I would keep to 2 clowns!

    Also keep in mind that they might be spawning and picking a spot to lay eggs.

    Clowns will find a spot they call home, and hang around there.
    They are not great explorers like tangs and angels.

    Totally normal, I have 2 clowns and they barely wonder from their one corner of the tank and are actually surprisingly aggressive and territorial towards other fish especially when they new to the tank.

    Indeed, my breading clowns killed all my chromis!

    Adding a new clown (of the same species) may cause a bit of fighting to see which is more dominant between the two, but they come right eventually. They'll pick a spot to host and will come away from it for food or to protect eggs etc.
