Has anyone got a clown trigger in their reef? If so, what size is it and is it OK with corals mainly sps?

Agreed it is a chance you take. But in general, ct's are known for their temperement and for the fact that they may kill your fish and inverts, but not corals as far as I know. However, I have one in my tank and I have seen him occasionally nipping the tip of sps, but not enough to do damage. Having said that, he also seems to nip at live rock, hence the question.
Now where is Mekaeel? I know she has a CT in her tank as I have seen pics of her tank some time ago.

Hey Zahira! Yip I have a Clown Trigger in my tank. I have him for almost 1.5 years now. He has never touched any of my SPS. I did see him once take out chunks out of LR, probably trying to grab something that was crawling in there. That fish has the best character out of all my fish.

How large did he get in that time? I bought mine at 1 inch and he has grown to possibly just over 3 inches in about 4 months.

Zahira, the Trigger was about 2cm when I got him, now it is about 7cm. The more you feed them, the faster they grow. I only feed my fish once daily. Very sparingly.

I tend to feed twice frozen and twice flakes (sparingly through an automatic feeder) daily. If I miss a feed or two, I don't bother. I prefer to keep them fed as it reduces any chance of them nipping at corals (found that with a regal and majestic angel). But yes, the clown trigger has grown fairly rapidly.
