    Hi,

I got 2 clown fish yesterday. They just stay in one spot at the bottom of the tank.
I have tried ocean nutrition prime reef flakes, ocean nutrition brine shrimp plus, seachem garlic guard, but they dont eat at all.
    Please help.:(
Tank parameters are all in order.

Fish can take a while to feel at home before they start eating.
If you only put them in yesterday, i wouldnt panic yet.

    Hi Eben

Give it time, the clowns are still adjusting to the new environment, you can try Seachem entice as well.

How did you acclimatize them, and how long?

    But give it time.

that is a big mistake that most people do, just take it easy don't over feed, you will incur even more problems down the line.

What other fish are in the tank?
Continue feeding small amounts everyday until they start eating properly.

Try some bloodworm. All my tank inhabitants go mad for it. As said above, try the Seachem Entice too. Works very well.

@Eben, I want to say dont be worried too much, they will start eating, but as with livestock, we cannot guarentee that.
When I got my maroon clown, she refused to eat for 12 days!!!..... it was so stressfull.
Dont give up...keep on feeding as you would normally... soak the food in Entice and GarlicGuard. Or try fishroe.... they go crazy for it.
    Good Luck!!!

Where are you situated? LFS dont normally have fresh fish roe. I buy mine in bulk at Pick 'n Pay or Checkers on the South Coast. I dont mind to give you some to try....

I think that they may have an internal parasite. Do you have a hospital/quarantine tank? If you do, I would suggest moving them there and treating them with paraguard or some other meds (not sure which ones treat internal parasites).
How thin have they gone? Can you post a pic of them?
