Hey guys,so i collected my tank(stocked second hand) this weekend, set it all up and all went well, water is good got it tested at exotic pets,i have 1 damsel and two clown fish-my problem comes in with the clown fish, they are staying behind the live rock and wont come out,the one comes out now and then but stays around the area but the smaller one has still not come out at all,he comes to feed but not often?what is wrong here or are they adjusting to the new surroundings,he stays close to the back board on the tank(boyutl550).
Your guys advice and help will be greatly appriciated

I am correct in assuming, you purchased a running tank and moved everything this weekend?

You are probably going to have some "die offs"...watch you'r Ammonia BIGTIME...get some Bacteria in there...like Seachem Stability or Special Blend...other than that I put the Fishy's behaviour down to the Tank.... that they are adjusting to the new surroundings and just give them time...but watch them closely now, as you have housed them in a Tank which might do a mini cycle...

Ge yourself some special blend and dose it to help dead with the die off from the move, also skim heavily and do a large WC on the weekend.

Die off refers to the bacteria that is involved in the nitrogen cycle that dies. By simply moving the tank you can expect die off, the longer the move the more die off can be expected.

dude, you have an infestation of calaurpa:eek:

IMO i would remove all the infected rock, and let it dry out ,give a good scrub down and then add a phos remover to tank... that is a good macro algae for refugiums but not DT's... you surely want to add some corals etc and that is going to get in the way.
when you posted pics, until seeing the clown,i thort it was a planted FW tank
