clown fish hatched

    Well my clownfish hatched around midnight and i syphoned them out of my main tank ;) lets see how it goes they have been breeding for 3 years i think maybe longer

    Yes i have. Some phyto plankton and zooplankton going so i hope this works i have alit of plankton living in my tank so i syphoned some off as well. I didvthis by shining a light at the top of the tank and after a few min i syphoned of the litle creatures dashong about

    Well it looks like this batch is not making it I do not have enough plankton cultures going.
    we will try again in 2 weeks , in the meantime i am going to build a culture station for my phytoplankton and zoo-plankton and build a culture station for the brine shrimp.

    Hey guys help me out hear I am at the same coal face. I have a breeding pair which lay eggs all the time and hatch I have a nursery tank connected to the the main system but my fear is feeding for the first few weeks. I would like to give it a go but have been told that I need a rotifer culture and green wAter to feed the Rotifers do you guys have and can you give advice. I have tried to siphon the hatch but not very easy even with the pumps and lights of only a torch

    Congrats and good luck! I hope that clownfish fry is easier to keep alive than betta fry?

    @ reef surgeon. You need to prepare sterilized sea water in a bucket, which can be moved into a 2 lt coke bottle after 24 hiurs. Place a air stone in the bottles wuth lights shining on the bottle. Place your phyto planktkn in the bottle and feed the phyto algae grow or seagrow fertiliser. ONce dark green you are ready to feed this to the live rotivers. Always keep the rotifer water lime green. phyto plankton can be split to produce more in new botles. Feed the rotifers fir four days before using any. The harvesting help them reproduce.
