Clown and Coral

What's a Pom Pom coral?

You guys all call it a Torch, I think

That looks like a plate coral.

Bit of a tough one: Euphyllia - Torch, Hammer etc. or Heliofungia - Plate

I have seen Heliofungia named platecoral but also Fungia, Cycloseris and Zoopilius.

You tell me which one it is

I'll say it is Fungia, Euphylia is more branching.

Rather wait for someone more experienced to say what it is.

BTW my clownfish live in my branching Frogspawn(Euphylia Paradivisia) witout any problems, and i know someone on the forum whose clownfish live in a simillar coral than yours.

thanks for the info:thumbup:

Don't worry - those corals won't "eat" your nemo's - only nemmies could do that - IF the nemo's were sick - then they "lose" their chemical protection - then nemmie feasts..... Corals - no....

Forgot about the chemicals, but that heliofungia has a big "mouth", I reckon if a dead clown (small) lay down there, it just may try eat it
