The clicking sound is driving me and my husband crazy. Any tips/ideas on how to find the little bugger? I don't want to hurt him or remove him. But I'd like to see him!

I'm thinking of sinking a tube with some food in it or something...

:) congrats they are such lovely things. you could try match the cklick with a decent base drum and get a band going?

else i think a night crawl is actually your best chance of seeing it. have you detirmine which area in the tank it is?

I got 3 and I feed them every 3rd night with either mysid or lance fish. See if there are escavations under the rocks, they also hide in holes in the rocks sometimes. Use a small piece of fish on a thin stick and hold it at all the places you think he might be, he will grab it if he's hungry.

go out and buy yourself a nice chocolate
Those with the red wrapping see through plastic.

    eat your chocolate
Then use that red wrapper and hold that in front of a torch. Then about 2 hours after lights out, also the lights in the room.

Clever idea, but I found something even better! A year ago I bought my step-son these really cool night vision goggles. Believe it or not, they actually work amazingly well. Unfortunately, I didn't hear any clicking last night. Maybe I'll have more luck tonight. :)
