Quick question, I have a few 25l RO containers for water storage, but never manage to clean them properly by just rinsing. I noticed algae growth in some of them.
Please share your methods for cleaning containers.

I use normal course salt and a little RO water. The salt scrapes the little muck out and then just rinse with plain RO afterwards.

An idea that I read relating to the same issue...pressure cleaner...if you don't have can take it to a car wash..just make sure they don't add any soap

Thanks for the great suggestions, must admit, the pressure cleaner sounds great! Minimum effort :)

2 handfuls of sand, coarser would be better. About 2L tap water. Close it up and shake it vigorously. Rinse properly thereafter to get all the sand out with tap water. Obvious, do not drain the sand into your sewage system. Last final rinse with a bit of RO water and the job is done.
