    Hi all

Need some advice. I might be able to get some flow bins but the problem is that it is used to store cooking oil. Would I be able to use this and if so, how and what can I use to clean it?

I would say clean the oil out with pool acid, half fill it with water, then hit it with pool acid, just careful you don't get burn't, then maybe rinse it with water several times. That's how I cleaned my 50L and 60L drums.

It really doesn't matter if it is too clean. The oil will stay on the surface so as long as the overflow or pump is below the surface you will be fine.

I cleaned bins that had new engine oil in them, what I done was rinsed with water to remove any excess oil, then poured 5L petrol inside it and literally rolled it over and over, on all sides, I then washed that out, added solvent based cleaner rolling it again, and then finally water based cleaner, and you would never guess what I done next..... rolled it some more! Finally washed it with a high pressure cleaner and water. I've never had a problem! just make sure the is no slimey feel left on the plastic, make sure you check the top side, as its the hardest to clean.
