as the tank is rather shallow I do think the light would be OK.

Not sure if the clam will have enough food in the tank. As they are filter feeders, taking out small suspended particles. And they do circulate a lot of water through their bodies per day. I think one would filter your tank clean very quickly. Unless you feed it every day I do not think its a great addition to a 37L tank.

Depending on the space you got available.

Maybe a photosynthetic gorgodian (whip). Small footprint.

It does also depend on the clam though. Your clams that need lower light (relative to the real light lovers are your squamosa/ derasa clams. However they grow quite large for a nano, but are also quite forgiving. Croceas and to a lesser extent Maximas need lots of light to thrive and are not as forgiving.

I kept a clam (crocea) in this nano for a year and it was fine. The problem was the calcium consumption and keeping up with it.
