    Hi Guys

My one bi-colour chromis (have 5) has a white bulging eye. Don;t think he can see out of it at all.. and it seems to be staying the same. Started out as a white eye then over night bulged out.

Know how to try fix this?? And what could have happened?

    Thanks

He could either have an infection or more than likely has scratched his eye against some rock. It happens occasionally and can take a week or two to disappear. Is the eye white or is it just cloudy?

It happens to some of my fish but it usually goes away with time. Like Viper said, is it cloudy or clear

Seems he has lost his left eye... :( Not happy bout this but he is doing ok... still feeding and hiding... has a bit of difficulty seeing the food but swims around no problem..

Am I right in saying he won't get his eye back?

Unfortunately not, if there is now a depression where the eye used to be then it's gone I'm afraid.

Sorry to hear. Fortunately fish unlike humans dont stress too much about things like that and just adapt. He could live a healthy long life despite the loss
