So this is where my journey began, a 80l Hexagon ... http://www.marineaquariumsa.com/showthread.php?t=37800

As you can see there's quite a bit of clutter around the tank,,, :( both the house mate and I was just not happy with the look and "feel". So after a lot of deliberation I finally managed to "sway" Elaine's vote. We're upgrading!!! :yeahdude: . Funny thing is, she actually recommended it ... To quote @belindamotion

So now that i have the "go-ahead" i sprang into action and planned what i wanted...

So all this happened in early December '12,,,

Whilst waiting for the tank to be build, I got some of the stuff needed for the new tank...

    The Return Pump...

And the MOST important of em'all... :yeahdude: yeah Baby :yeahdude:

    @Rhyn did a SUPER job!!

 had to do the antennas,,, my sump is rather small, so I needed something that could be as close to the waters surface as possible so that the siphon could break super fast,,, must say, they work very well. As soon as the power's of, it breaks... Besides, they look cool:p

    Thanks for the comments :1:

Haha,,, you know how happy I am!! I will put up some more pics as soon as I scratch together the time,,

Thanks @Visser ! Sure, it's a straight forward 3 chamber sump, with a baffle before the last to eliminate micro bubble... I've got a hob skimmer for now, with its intake in first chamber and out put in second.. Return pump in last chamber, with a few pieces of LR in the second chamber... Yeah, super impressed with the razors!! :yeahdude:

Hey @Dorry ,,, yup, I'm pretty much already in the 3rd week of the cycle... They are working incredible,,, a lot more flexibility as to where you want your water to be directed... I had two dead spots in the back of the tank, directed the two returns to point in that direction and pesto,,, dead spots gone... ;)

On the coral side it'll be mainly lps, it's almost the 20th @Rhyn , time to come and collect those beauties you've been keeping for me!!

    and for fish

    Bangai cardinal
    Picasso clown pair
    Yellow tang
    Coral beauty
    Sand sifting goby

And then maybe one or two more interesting fish...
