Well, today I lost my prized Yellow Tang to something i thought would never happen, Choking... It ate a large piece of Algae I always feed it and bit off more then it could chew, getting stuck and choking itself to death. At the last moments you could see him spitting out the large chunks of algae... Anyways I just felt i needed to share this as I am a bit sad now...

hey buddy sorry to hear, you will have ups and down in this hobby of ours and what makes it worse is that we grow so attached to our prized pets . they actually become part of us.. i know how you feel.. this was a freak mishap.. unfortunatley these things happen to caution us from time to time.. condolences dude..

What!!?? That is insane! I'm so sorry for your loss Storm... What exactly did you feed him? I feed mine Nori sheets or the Omega One Red Seaweed sheets or Green Seaweed sheets.

That is crazy!? I'm still stunned about what happened with your yellow tang. I also feed mine some macro algae from time to time but i think i'll stop doing that.

Sorry for the loss. I once had a clown who died the same way. He ate a large piece of food and the next morning he was dead. All you can do is watch helplessly. Not lekker
