Hi, it might be my imagination but I often smell chlorine in my newly produced RO. My RO unit is a 5 filter and not a RO/DI. My TDS meter reads 0 mostly and somedays will read 1 PPM in the RO. My normal tap water reads over 90 most days so I know my meter is working. So can chlorine pass though the RO membraine and be undetected my the TDS meter or is this just my nose playing tricks on me?

Chlorine should be removed by the carbon filters in your pre filter stage.
