    Hi guys.
I'm looking to get a chiller for a 1000l system.

    I can get a 2nd hand hailea hc1000hb.
Question... is it a good idea to buy 2nd hand ? anything i should be wary of?

Hailea are pretty good, I have 4 of them and I've only had to change 1 temp probe over the years. A hc1000 is a large chiller and would handle your tank with ease. price would be the factor....

Yup there are at least three wholesalers bringing in Hailea chillers.

Both the AquaMedic and Deltec chillers are Hailea.
