is it okay to have a copper temp probe in a chiller used on a mixed reef tank? We have covered the probe with the finger off a latex glove. Sorry we are brand new into the hobby and no that copper treatment for white spot cannot be done with corals.

Ummmm, if it's sealed properly then I guess it should be ok? Is the probe in the tank or inside the chiller?
