    Does anyone know where the cheapest glass is found? Looking to save some time by checking to see if anyone knows a place. Got one quote, which isnt bad, but if there is a cheaper place then i would love to know

    just phoned border glass R800 pm2 to the public R600 pm2 to me.. im waiting for his final price as i refused to pay that much.. PG currently R478 pm2.. those are east london prices.

    the glue is the next problem @ R39 per tube and roughly 10 needed.. thats another R 400

    haha:) that sucks man. my diy skimmer was only meant to cost me the price for cutting holes and glue. now its costin me a small tank that i have to build it so that i can run an external internal skimmer:) what can you do? some stuff its just not possible to see coming

    well i don't want to fuss with waiting for stuff to arrive etc. so i just thought i would get it new where i can have it immediately. Will post actual sizes later if necessary

    er why not just use some othwer container like a square black plastic dish or something as this obviously doesnt need to be clear coz you view from the top anyway.
