So it begins, I am sure many know, but thought it's time for a new thread dedicated to this tank. It was placed on it's stand today, and it will be wet very soon.

How many spare skimmers are there on that shelf in the background?

@irie ivan, I know it's just ridiculous, I am sure they can do a garage sale that would supply many things!

Oh, the man standing the tank is Edward, and I promised I would make him famous, if only for just a day.

Looks fantastic! Please keep it thick and heavy on the detail.

Ok, so what would you like to know. First thing that comes to mind is equipment.

Tank: DT is 790 litres 12mm normal glass clear float, rimless, three corner overflows and one corner return.

1500mm X 1000mm x 500mm. Water level at 450mm
Sump is 1350mm x 450 mm x 450mm.
Protein skimmer is reef octo 5000 external with bubble blaster pump.
Return is via a Aquamedic 3500 ocean runner.
Have a Reef Octo Kalk stirrer
Tunze Calcium reactor
Profilux four channel doser
Ozone machine fed via a avast reactor and then through a skimz fluidized reactor filled with activated carbon by Orca.
I will run another two little fishes reactor with Activated carbon.
Will also carry over my current in sump skimz 201 kone skimmer (in sump, love two skimmers.)
Saga ORP controller and profilux ORP probe.
Lighting will be provided by four XR30W radions with TIR lens upgrades.
Flow will be supplied with one Vortech MP60wes and two MP40wes (some would say it's over kill, but I prefer to have pumps running at lower speeds than less pumps at higher speeds).

Filtration is done via existing live rock in current system as well as new caribsea primo reef rock and approximately 1500ml of Orca bio cubes.. I will be separating my inverts from my fish (as I have WS) and will be treating the fish for about six weeks with paragaurd in the current system and then move them to the new system over a few weeks.

Exciting times! Wow, goona be one insane tank!
