Changing sand in nano

    Hi guy battling with my nano a little need help my nano is building detrius in my substrate how do change it . Substrate is crused coral do i just drain and replace:(

    Pretty much, what do you wanna replace it with? Id recomend using special blend when you do change everything up.

    want to change to argonite what blend should i use

    its a bacterial product by microblift called "Special blend' if thats unavalible seachem stability would work

    do i just syphon sand and replace

    yes and no

    Only siphon out 20% per week. Give system time to adjust. After you do the last 20% you can add the aragonite. You can suck the substrate out while you are doing your water changes.
