Changing DI resin

    Hey Marco,

    hope you are well

    How do I know when its time to change the DI resin?
    Is it when the beads turn black?

    depending on what resin you have there.

    if its the indicator blue resin....then it turns orange/yellow

    if its the standard yellow resin......it stays the same .....if its black, then sun nailed it and it needs to be changed

    I have the resin that started as blue and gold beads.

    Now its completely black (or very dark blue)

    yip....then its fried
    light got hold of it
    time to change.....generally 4 to 6 months

    But its in my bathroom where no sunlight hits it?

    its been about 5 months, so i guess I will change it

    Hi Marco

    My resin seems to be going reddish. I'll take a picture tongiht.

    Does the whole chamber need to be orange before i change it?

    Also can you please let me know what the price is for replacement resin?

    Even though my resin has changed colour, the TDS is still 0 after the first 5 or so litres of RO.
