Chalice prices in the states?

    Chalice prices in the states?

    Any take notice of the CRAZY prices of Chalice corals in the states????
    $300.00 - R2000 for a coral no bigger than a R2 coin[​IMG]
    But i will admit some are stunners

    aka turbinaria right? Wow thats flippn crazy! Do we get them locally. And if so how much? Similar to a monti cap in their growth pattern...awesome

    No its not a Pagoda, its a Chalice... scientific name Echinophyllia Aspera. Yes you do get them locally, most LFS's will stock them...not really like a plating monti, they encrust over the rockwork/frag plug...if u had to compare it to a monti it would be more like a Danae than a Capricornis .

    Z I have seen some really awesome colours locally and they not in the R2000 region for a tiny frag...that just seems a bit over priced. :p

    Maybe they're diamond crusted chalices. Those guys better lay off the crack cocaine when making up prices

    supply and demand the americans are willing to pay the crazy prices for those chalices. plus they so slow growing
