    Hi Niel,

I might be able to help you out with a bit....
I have Cheato (not much, but can spare a bit) and some caulipera.

I've harvested some last week, but I'm sure that I can take out some more....

    I'm using energy safers

    Cool!
Do you have a DSB running - maybe we can swap some sand...
My sand bed is running for 3+ years now, so I would like to get a cup of new sand in... :)

Raven, I do have a dsb - its only about 5 weeks running - but I had it seeded from Erenst at Visdam's Display tank as well as a cup of Sand from Cybervic in Kimberley - so maybe there is some goggas in there that would be of value to you...

Ill bring a cup along it and when I collect the chaeto.

How do I do it - just lift a cup out? from all the layers or just the top or what would be the best way to do this?

There will be some goggas after 5 weeks, but I'll get some sand from you a bit later...
    No haste in that!

I'll give you some of my sand as well - will boost yours a bit more!;)

    Hi Dumbo,
it would have been nice to get "fresh" sand from the coast every now and again!

But by swapping sand between ourselfs will prevent mono-cultures to thrive. And by swapping sand will give you more diverse creatures...

So it will be better, but not always possible!
