Cerium(IV) oxide

    Tank is empty. Need to remove scratches on front panel, inside. Research says Cerium(IV) oxide will do. Does anyone have some leftovers?

    It's not easy, even with cerium. It'll only remove shallow scratches, and even then you really want mechanical assistance (ie. a motorised buff).

    Oh yes, I will be using a mechanical buffer. Scratches from scraper, not deep, just visible.
