I have 2 big tomato clowns, which I want to replace with smaller fish. Lots of LR and hiding places. What is the best way to catch the two buggers??

I caught my naso using nori as bait. Swam right into the bottle it was in. Problem is i was trying to catch the sailfin :p

You can try their favourite food on the end of a hook if all else fails :whistling:

Starve them a day and then feed them . have net in faster hand and food in slower hand. as you hold slower hand over tank have faster hand and net eeady to scoop. drop one or two flakes .as they go for flakes scoop quickly into water and under fishes. works every time

If you go the feeding route, just have to get them first time as they remember if you miss and will avoid the surface. Another option is to take LR out while catching, makes it very easy to corner them. Alternatively take curtain netting and put it in tank in such a way that you can pull it up when the clownfish are in the correct spot-prob best way to go. If all else fails PM me if you need help on a weekend.
