    Hi Guys,

I am being forced by my Blenny to find him a new home. The prolem is I still need to catch him.

I tried setting traps, tried at night but he is to clever. I am forced to remove all the rocks or something and then try and catch him again.

The problem I have is I have a regal tang and when he gets to excited he gets spots. Does anyone have advise for me. Do I leave the Regal and remove the rocks and then catch the blenny or do I remove the regal and the remove rocks?

I also have some other fish but I think they will be ok. Yellow tang, purple tang, foxface, and then just some smaller fish.

split the tank in two with glass panels.
Blennie one side, regal and most other fish on the other side.

Then you need to dismantle only one part of your system.

And make sure he cannot escape past the panels, else that would be like duh...

not if its in the bigger part of the split tank. He will hide away somewhere and will stress a bit. But a lot less than being caught.

Does he not have a hole that he always ducks into ? Both my bi colours had their own hole

If I wanted to catch one I'd just grab the rock and pull it out the tank even when out of water they wouldn't try leave their hole

to catch a blenny in a hole. Take said piece of live rock out of the water with the hole right below some water. It works pretty fast, he has to move or dry out.
