    Not the first time that this is happening and it will also not be the last. The only thing that changes is the maximum size of the fish they can swallow.

    its nature, carpet nennies are crazy sticky they even catch my plastic tongs, mine stay put and my fish stay far away. that reminds me i need to feed them

    I am planning on getting rid of mine. I bought a boxer shrimp the other day and he was in my tank for a few hours, then my carpet nennie decided that he wanted lunch and then ate him.

    You know, I thought one of my fish ate the few shrimp we had, but now Im wondering about the carpet nennie.

    Guys everything we deal with wrt marines are predatory, some moreso than others, its natural for these amimals to feed on one another all that differs from our system to nature is the pricetag attached to the species being eaten..

    Be glad, be very glad .. they turn on you I tell you!! I have no carpet nennie, but the boxing shrimp ate some small gobies I got

    Wow sounds like a war zone in there. I am all for nature taking its toll and what not but the price of the meals we feed them become very expensive.
